Database Management

DTC' provides database management services onsite or through our remote Virtual Support Services (VSS) offering.

Database Management includes Installation, Upgrade, High Availability, Performance Tuning, Database Migration, as well as Backup and Recovery.  Our senior-level, certified Oracle DBAs have implemented a wide range of solutions including planning, installing/upgrading, configuring, migrating and documenting Oracle databases and support products.

Installation and Upgrade:  The whole range of Oracle products, from version 4 up to and including 10g, as well as Oracle8 Server, Oracle9iAS and Oracle interMedia.

High Availability:  Oracle Real Application Clusters, Oracle Fail Safe, Oracle Standby Database (Data Guard) and more.

Database Migration: Migrating data across database platforms, or migrating a database across servers.

Backup and Recovery:  Developing and implementing strategies for online, incremental and block-level backups to support client needs.
