Require a proficient Java and C developer to work on three development projects aimed at adding security features to BMC’s BladeLogic Operations Manager. These projects are:
? Add support for Common Access Card (CAC) authentication of Operations Manager users. Involves the authoring of a CAC authentication module that would fit into BladeLogic’s single sign-on authentication framework.
? Replace currently used JCE providers and OpenSSL library with FIPS 140-2 compliant crypto modules.
? Implement an X.509 Certificate authority to be bundled with Operations Manager. Will be used to issue certificates to licensed management agents.
Candidates must be familiar with cryptography concepts and Java SE security, in particular the Java Cryptography architecture (includes JCE) and Java Secure Socket Extension (JSSE). In addition, familiarity with PKI and CA implementations is desirable.
